Time Management

I blinked and September is here!  Does anyone else feel that way?

As 2 working parent home and two kids doing virtual schooling with a 5 month old puppy running around my home can be chaotic.  My kids try to be independent but it’s hard, questions come up, zoom issues, and lots of redirecting to stay focus on the teacher happens.

I wanted to give you a 4 quick time Management tips:

  1. Prioritize the tasks.  What absolutely needs to be done.
  2. Set a plan for the day and set time limits for each activity, such as 10 minutes- check emails
  3. Learn to say No!
  4. Create Organizing Systems, being organized saves times. Create a filing system for documents. Make sure all items have a place to be stored. Unsubscribe from email lists if you do not want to receive their content. Streamline, streamline, streamline.

 POST TITLE
December 19, 2024
Post Holiday Checklist: Update your holiday card list and address book from cards received If you haven’t photographed your decorated spaces and taped the pictures to the front of your storage containers, do so before you pack things up. Each of my holiday décor storage tubs contains the items needed to create the scene that is taped to the box. It’s so simple and cuts down on the amount of decisions I need to contemplate. After all, it’s actually the millions of holiday decisions that wipe us out. Take those photos and give your brain a break next year. Throw away/ Recycle: Lights that don’t work Broken ornaments Excess left over holiday cards you sent Holiday books you don’t read Donate: Gifts that you don’t want Holiday décor that did not get put up Excess wrapping paper that you won’t use
