Our Organization Process
Our passion and knowledge have turned countless homes and offices into beautiful, functional spaces!
When we first meet with a new client, we use our communication and planning skills, along with unique client-needs assessment, to develop a Critical Care Plan to conquer clutter. We pride ourselves on our ability to use the items clients already possess to create functional, attractive organizational systems, saving them both time and money.
Any unwanted items removed from a clients' homes are properly disposed of or safely recycled. All donations are taken to local charities where they can be claimed by someone in need. Remember, one person's clutter is another person's treasure!
Beyond The Clutter
In addition to working with individuals, We use our talents to help community groups get organized. Annie's most recent project with Mothers’ Home in Darby, PA, successfully transformed a storage room overwrought with donations of clothing, toys, and home goods into a well-organized shopping area. Now, the young women who visit can quickly and easily find the items they need. Annie felt so passionately about her work with this organization that she is now the Volunteer Sharing Space Coordinator for Mothers' Home.

Meet the Team
Annie’s passion for getting organized is apparent from the first time you meet her. Helping others get or stay organized is the fuel that keeps her going. It all began after Annie used her organizing skills as a coping mechanism in nursing school, when faced with the overwhelming paperwork required. Then 8 years ago she helped a friend organize a difficult space, her friend insisted Annie should pursue professional organizing and Life Simplified was born shortly thereafter.
Annie is married and has 2 amazing children. Her husband even helps with some of her larger jobs, especially ones that require heavy lifting. When Annie’s not working, she can be found kayaking, reading a good book, or just spending time with her family. Annie is a member of National Association Professional Organizers and SBO Partner Program.
Emily is an Esthetician by trade but our Content creator by passion. Emily creates all of our visuals and helps to bring creative ideas to life! Besides her work with Life Simplified, she also owns her own small business as an Esthetician!
Behind the scenes extraordinaire! Phyllis is Life Simplified’s bookkeeper and Annie’s assistant! Phyllis brings years of experience in various industries as well as, the love of simple organization. Besides helping Life Simplified she is amazing wife, mother and new grandmom!
Meet Karyn Norton. Whether organizing or preparing for a move, transforming a home from a state of chaos to one of calm is a deeply gratifying experience for her. Eight years ago, she made the pivotal decision to transition from a corporate role in the environmental field to pursue a career in real estate. Karyn joined Life Simplified where her experience in the real estate sector serves as a foundation for providing tailored suggestions and recommendations for each unique job. Off-duty, she is a wife and mother to 3 kids and 1 miniature labradoodle. She has been a resident of Chester County her whole life and loves supporting her local businesses and community. In her down time, you’ll find her on the sidelines of a sports field, relaxing at the beach with family and friends or embarking on a new home renovation project. Karyn is the most excited to join you on the journey to discovering the joy of a well-organized and inviting home.
After working 49 years in Corporate Finance, Jim retired in May of 2023. He is now utilizing his organizational and packing skills working for Life Simplified.
Jims years of corporate service have brought another useful dimension to the Life Simplified team while also affording him time to pursue his passion for rowing.
Martina Duffy has always loved art and design. She sees and understand space really well and has a deep appreciation for a well thought out space. She was a professional merchandiser and window dresser for almost 20 years in the retail industry and has created beautiful, well organized, intentional spaces that felt inviting. She left that job to became a homeschooling mama to 3 smart,resourceful, creative & compassionate daughters. They have been inspirational to her. When the girls were young and life was messy she used the many tools she learned as a merchandiser to create engaging, well organized environments which honored the children’s passions and helped them to thrive. After 16years of homeschooling and 20 years in merchandising, home organization was a natural fit . Martina feels energized when helping others design a functional, well-organized space and loves seeing the joy on our clients’ faces when the stress is eliminated. Whether you need help cleaning out a loved one’s estate or organizing your child’s homework area to help them succeed in school, we are honored to have Martina as part of our team.
After spending 25 years as a corporate financial planner at various fashion companies, Betsy changed careers and started working in real estate during the pandemic.
Betsy assisted real estate agents with staging homes and loves home organizing projects. She joined Life Simplified in 2023 and is exceptional at helping clients sort through and organize rooms with decluttering visions and implementing organizing systems. Betsy listens to the goals of the client and will provide a step by step plan to ensure a successful outcome.
Betsy is a huge asset to the Life Simplified team.
